I hope you’re set and ready for you’re south Africa holidays with all you’re needed equipment packed not forgetting passports and vaccination certificates etc, which will allow you to either enter of leave the continent of Africa.
There are a lot of people out there telling what to wear, what to bring etc and most tourists happily apply but many they still come across little problems which ultimately turn the world’s ultimate holiday into a bit of an anticlimax.
Here’s my survival guide after you’ve followed the normal essential guides :
- you don’t take malaria tablets to prevent being infected, you take them in case you become infected and they will suppress the horrific symptoms which you’ll suffer from! so do bring them and do remember to take them frequently! this doesn’t count specifically to safari goer’s as you’ll need to take them on any Africa holidays you go on.
- Rehydration salts you more than likely to get “Montezuma’s revenge” rightfully named after the popular branded chocolate, this travellers derived saying is commonly referred to “dogey belly” or that cringe worthy word “diarrhoea”, these salts will help rejuvenate you’re body and revive you to your prior self.
- Vitamins – keep yourself topped up on them good things!!
- Chapstick dusty dry plateaus are probably the best place to visit if you’re looking for a sore dry face, so bring plenty of stick along! it would be more benefical to bring more than one as you’re bound to hear that god awful question more than once “may i borrow you’re chap stick”, People will go to some desperate measures when their in large amounts of pain.
- Painkillers On Kenya safari especially the parks terrain are as lumpy as a bad made crumble and will eventually give you a head ache this doesn’t even consider the hot sun which will drain you’re body of every drop of water it has in it presenting you with a head thumping pain.
- Garlic- if you’re mosquito net is proves to useless against the relentless army’s of mosquitoes try eating garlic, lots of garlic! the mordacious herbaceous plant and will give your blood taste undesirable and they will avert you like the plague.( if you’re a lady travelling solo this will also help prevent everyman asking to marry you which will be a frequent botheration on south Africa holidays Especially so, so i strongly advise you invest in some cloves or wear a phoney ring.
